The National Director, who will be based in Cebu, Philippines, provides the overall leadership for the Project Seahorse Foundation for Marine Conservation, based on direction and guidance from the Board of Trustees. The responsibilities include leadership, resource generation, program management, operations management, and external relations. This person will ensure that the PSF team works efficiently, in a safe and ethical manner. S/he will bear primary responsibility for the smooth and effective functioning of the PSF.

The Lenfest Ocean Futures Project (www.lenfestoceanfutures.org) aims to develop approaches and software that will be used to evaluate scenarios for sustainable management of fisheries and ecosystems. The aim of this development is to influence the ecosystem management process by involving high-level decision makers at a series of summit meetings (Ocean Summits) where they will be supplied with relevant information, demonstrations, and visualizations of the economical, social and ecological consequences of a range of decision scenarios.
