Sea Around Us wins 2012 UBC Library Innovative Dissemination of Research Award!
The Sea Around Us Project portal: www.seaaroundus.org has been selected to receive the 2012 UBC Library Innovative Dissemination of Research Award! Here is what the University Librarian had to say about the project's work:
There were 25 strong candidates this year. The committee was highly impressed by the quality of the submissions from faculty, students and staff all over campus and by the level and array of innovative and creative approaches to disseminating knowledge on our campus. It is an enormous credit to the Sea Around Us that its work was selected as the winning project out of so many excellent applications. Congratulations!
The Award was officially presented at the Celebrate Research Awards Gala on March 8, 2012, 5:30-8:00pm.
